Our family has been running the Daum for three generations now. Built as a traditional Eggental Valley farmhouse with grey cattle, farmland and managed forests, it was converted into a hotel with guest rooms over the course of several decades. Our grandma, Maria, looked after the Daum until she retired, and even spent her twilight years there. We have so many funny stories to tell about her cooking skills, her role as the boss and her way of doing business.
And now it’s our turn. We set out to breathe new life into this beautiful place and to manage it with the utmost care, because the My Daum really is very special to us.
